UFC Predictions Rest on Experience of Fighters

The UFC – Ultimate Fight Championships – has become one of the hottest physical sports in the world over the last several years. Mixed Martial Arts has ushered in an entirely new combination of boxing, kick boxing, karate, wresting and a variety of other combat techniques. In fact, over the last few years – since 1993-  mixed martial arts and its cage fighting followers have moved this new class of sports up in the rankings of popularity. Many believe it will surpass boxing and also wrestling. Using UFC predictions, one can choose which fighter you want to support and possibly even place a bet or two on your fighter of choice.

Mixed Martial Arts and Ultimate Fighting Championships include a mixture of traditional and modern martial arts which allows for both striking and grappling techniques in their fights. The UFC got its start in 1993 when the Gracie family brought combat sports to the U.S. from Brazil. However, MMA events were previously sponsored in Japan in the late ’80s. Since its inception in 1993, fans worldwide have used UFC predictions to base their selection of those favored to win.

In an upcoming event hosted by the UFC at the TD Gardens in Boston, Mass, fans will be following closely to see if they have made their predictions wisely. This particular match is being broadcast on pay-per-view so there is the possibility of millions of fans watching what many believe will be an interesting match. Some fans use UFC predictions based on their personal preference of contestant. Some look at the prior statistics posted by the two contestants. In the upcoming fight at TD Gardens in late August, it will be former World Boxing Champion James Toney going against MMA Hall of Famer Randy Couture – an ex Greco-Roman wrestling extraordinaire.

Most experts in the field of MMA and cage fighting believe this fight will come down to a matter of who has the most experience in this type of physical match. While many UFC predictions focus on the obviously better trained Couture as the favorite to win, other fans point to the fact that Toney is often quick to get in his punches and therefore has a good chance to win. Toney fans do acknowledge the danger he will face if the match is taken to the floor too quickly. Regardless of which fighter is your choice, you can count on UFC predictions and the thrill of full combat sport to make for an exciting match!
