State of Baseball Tickets

This summer is looking to be a good summer for baseball based on last year.  MLB Box offices are reporting that there are tickets available, but not like last year.  The Boston Red Sox have tickets available for the opening series against the New York Yankees early in April of 2010, however, upon further investigation, the tickets available are single tickets, standing room only tickets, obstructed view tickets and nose bleed seats, the tickets that always seem to be available at Fenway Park in Boston. With the Yankees coming off a World Series championship win, the Yankees are expected to have many sell outs at the New Yankee Stadium in Bronx, NY.  Other teams expected to do well with ticket sales include the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies and so on.

Fenway Park in Boston has the same prices as last year and has a new section called the Coca-Cola Pavillion.  Along with the EMC Club, Green Monster seats and Field Box Seats, Fenway has some of the highest priced baseball tickets in Major League Baseball. Boston Red Sox Tickets

Lots of tickets are still on sale for all MLB teams and as spring training wraps up, teams are looking to finalize their starting rotations and get set for their opening day match ups.

Purchasing tickets to see your favorite team may be difficult and discouraging at times.  If you’re a fan of teams like the Florida Marlins or Arizona Diamondbacks, tickets might be easier to obtain than if you’re a fan of the Boston Red Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers or New York Yankees.
