Increase your vertical jump

A power jumper is basically an elastic chord that is attached around the neck and runs under your feet as well as down your shoulders. One of its basic functions is to constrict the body so that it gives you an extra effort to be able to stand up straighter.  It helps to make vertical jump training more challenging so that your muscles work more than they normally do. This is quite useful in the maximize use of the muscles in the lower body and therefore it builds the strength of your muscles as well as endurance.  Below are some examples that will help you become a powerful jumper. However it is advisable to seek advice from a professional before you perform any vigorous exercises to avoid an injury from occurring.

1. Jump off- This type of exercise normally requires that you should look for a surface area that is raised much higher than usual. For ideal results, you should ensure that there is a space that reaches below the knee. Now, you are supposed to put on the powerful jumper an thereafter stand upright on an elevated platform. You should then jump and ensure that you land on one foot and then repeat the exercise but this time round land on both legs. You should also move backwards and then repeat this exercise on top of an elevated platform.

2. Hop- This is one of the most effective exercises to increase vertical jump and is done by hopping. Find an area that is open such as a track field and put a mark your starting point as well as the ending point. You should then put on the powerful jumper and use one leg to hop from the starting point to the ending point. When you have reached at the end, you should turn around and hope back to your starting point using your other foot.

3. Squat jumps- You are supposed to ensure that you bend your knees a little more that the 90 degree angle,   hold that position for at least two seconds and then jump on your third count. As you are landing, ensure that you are in a bent position. Make sure that you raise your arms as you jump.
