Ever since I was a kid I had been following each and every football game of each and every world cup. I remember I was sitting wearing an England Jersey in the 2002 world cup final when they lost to Brazil. I remember painting the France flag on my cheeks for the 2006 world cup finals. But alas, the team I support in the finals always loses. This has made me believe that I am some sort of unlucky charm for my favorite teams, but that is all superstition.
This world cup I will be supporting England again and with no surprise they have already showed their incompetence in the match against USA. Sure it was Green’s mistake but the teams overall performance wasn’t very good. If they can only manage to score only one goal against USA, we can only imagine what will happen against strong teams like Brazil and Portugal. Germany is also one of the favorites and I will be watching Germany vs Australia online because of my office.
I had recently been employed in a company which deals with software for ATMs. The work is quite hectic and I have to really concentrate on the work to be able to do well. This puts in a predicament to say the least because all the world cup matches will be happening during office hours. We definitely cannot follow the world cup while working.
