If you desire to become the best basketball player in history then consider some hard training, practicing as often as possible and playing some hard ball as part of your success formula.

Your basketball skills will have to be honed in such a manner that ball handling, rebounding, defense, ball stealing, screens and picks, passing, blocking shots, boxing out, and foot work will be a part of your daily routines, when working to achieve that jump high condition. The following lines will aid you in your goal by offering a few surefire ways to do so:

1.)    Dribbling – You will have to learn one handed dribbling without a doubt. You will have to train double time for the weak hand. If you are left handed then practice with the right hand and if not vice versa. Ball dribbling will have to become easy for you and executing moves with it around your back, between your legs or over your shoulder with low and high bounces, fast and powerful bounces should be your daily routine as well.

2.)    Plyometric Exercises Basketball – The current type will become your default jumping workout. Plyometric basketball exercises will enhance your jumps and improve the overall physical condition while creating the ability to perform a great game. You will become able to perform incredible blocks and extreme dunks.

3.)    Shooting – You should make sure that you practice your shooting skills on a single spot in the beginning so later you will become able to hit the basket from multiple angles. You should only move to another spot when you have been able to hit around ninety percent of the shots made from that single spot. In addition add to your normal training add some lay ups, some fake shots, jump shots and  to do some fade away shots to distract your opponents.

4.)    Sprints – Through running sprints you will condition your body to release HGH or the growth hormone. Your muscles will increase their mass due to this activity and you will condition yourself to becoming faster as well as stronger.

5.)    Les Press & Squats – This special exercise will make sure your body becomes strengthened especially in your lower region. This type of exercise will improve your defense considerably.
